Have to say the support from Dish Network was excellent, as has been the support from DirecTV since we switched--although we've had precious little reason to need TA with either service.

Consider yourself fortunate. We didn't have a lot of problems with Adelphia, and at least when we did call them we got someone local. Time-Warner...well, there must be terabytes of documented complaints about Time-Warner on the internet...and if I had time, mine would be part of them. What kind of customer support doesn't know if there's an outage, doesn't know if there's scheduled maintenance, claims not to have a complaint escalation process, and whose only half-hearted offerof assistance is to send out a cable repairman when it's obviously not acable problem? Obviously they are meant to be a firewall, not support. I enjoy Comcast. I've used them for TV and internet for about 5 yrs and have had no real problems. Their customer service hasbeen wonderful, even helped me with issues that weren't related to theirservice.Their prices seem about the same as Verizon for internet, though Verizonis cheaper for phone. I keep seeing these commercials for the competition with people saying they've been terribly abused by cable, but I just don't understand what the problem is. Yes, I think the priceis too high, but they're all too high.
