Wish it were that easy, Jesse. We have a very light snow cover and the wind is blowing like crazy - 30-40 mph - and the temperature peaked about an hour ago at 20.2 degrees - back down to 18.9 now. And I, too would love to have some sunshine. Sunny days have been exceedingly rare for months now. I think I hate the gloom worse than the cold. With such a light snow-cover, I worry about small creatures with no place to get away from the wind, and I know it is not good for plants. On the other hand, we did enjoy the flock of 12 large turkeys that paraded around our back slope this morning. Such ridiculous- looking creatures. I don't know about ya'll - but I am officially done with winter. Yep, it snowed and now I'm done. Tired of being cold already. And where the heck is my sunshine? ugghhhhh. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
