Never used a reel, but I LOVE my battery-powered one! It is relatively
quiet, light weight and NEVER needs maintenance. Just plug it in to
recharge.

I think those look intriguing. I remember using my grandma's when I was
little. Grandad kept it razor sharp & it was easy to push. Such a pleasant
whirring sound, much nicer than the roar of a gas engine.
