Re: a few tips for coping w/ heat from East Texas
Pam, I've done it twice. Once by myself and the other time with a little
help from my husband, but not much. Both houses were alumninum siding so I
had to first clean the chalk off. On the first house I did, the owner
decided to go cheap and did not get the paint I told him to get.
Consequently I had to paint it twice to cover properly. I'm a lot older now
and I worry that someday I'll have to paint this house again; it's been 19
years with a 15 year-rated paint. It has faded, but coverage is still good.
Tan over the original chartreuse-yellow. I wouldn't paint in such high
temps though if I could help it. Good luck.
