There are two nurseries north of Houston that have a cafe with it. The
setting is in the "garden" where the plants are planted all around that they
carry in the nursery. They also have seminars every weekend featuring some
garden expert that comes in to give a talk on some subject. It's reservation
only, that's how packed it is. Ladies go there all the time to "do lunch" and
then of course they browse for plants that they "ooohed and ahhhhed" over
lunch. These nurseries are quite some distance from Houston, but you'd be
surprised how many go. One of the nurseries has an outdoor gazebo as well, where
they feature jazz bands some weekends, wine and cheese parties, etc. It's
quite popular.
