Thanks for the support Donna- yep, definitely riding the wave emotions.... Still know I'm doing the right this. We should be getting the house appraised on Saturday- this will move things forward relatively quickly- provided the number is one the we both can agree on. I'm not too worried about replacing stuff- we had too much junk in the house anyway. I did clean up the floor in my office, stored stuff in the closet of his old office, and over the weekend got my dad's old table out of my garage and set it up in the kitchen area. I also moved an old chair of mine out of his old office into the living room. So, aside from his old office looking weird with no furniture- everything is fairly well pieced together. I want to repaint that room anyway- so once I pick out a paint color and get it on the walls, then I'll worry about what else to move in there to make it my own.

Holding up ok Theresa? Having been there, I still remember all the mood swings -- glad he is out of my life to what the heck did I do.... Dont worry about replacing all the things he took right away. Some of my fondest memories are of the times things were not perfect but improvised with friends. Although most of my family is gone now, I still remember the times they surprised me- like when I moved into my house years ago.... they all came along with friends - on the DAY I moved in... Panic set in thinking geesh, only got a 6 pack of pop and case of beer in the fridge.... but they brought it all- food, plates, drinks, folding chairs and we partied all night..... and as my uncle said- you never clean before a party cause someone is gonna spill something, so do it afterwards. I'm heading over the Cost Plus World Market in another hour or so to buy some chairs. I have a table that will do for now, but eventually I'll need one of those too.Theresa Jesse Bell wrote:I made snow angels in the carpet when my ex finally moved out. They seem oddly embarrassing for some reason, and only about halfway final at any given interval. Both of mine were filled with spates of doubt and second-guessing. Hang in there. The need to rearrange the furniture abates after awhile and the instant hollowness of not having familiar ears to listen to you bitch gets filled with the sound you've been trying to make for sometime. On Jul 21, 2007, at 5:44 PM, Theresa W wrote:Hi all-I have cherry tomatoes galore right now, and eventually I'll get outside and pick some. My ex moved out of the house today and has most everything. He'll need to come back tomorrow for odds and ends, and eventually we'll need to sort through the garage, but that can wait until later. So far, everything has been OK. I'm really happy today is over, the last couple days have just been really awkward. So- I've been on a major cleaning binge for much of the afternoon- but now I'm tired and just need to take a shower myself. Tomorrow I can clean more and maybe start organizing some stuff. (my office is one giant pile of stuff that needed to be moved to get to other stuff!)Theresa --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHATIsland Jim Southwest Florida 27.1 N, 82.4 W Hardiness Zone 10 Heat Zone 10 Sunset Zone 25 Minimum 30 F [-1 C] Maximum 100 F [38 C] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHATJesse R.
