Re: Off to the Garden/mock orange
That is terribly confusing to non-Idahoans, Judy. You are saying they use
the botanical name for the genus of Lilacs as a common name for a Mock
Orange?
And... if they named it after a guy named Lewis, then why isn't it called
Lewis? (or Lewisia to make it even stranger)? Was his name Syringa Lewis?
