I just checked ebay for ph meters and came across someone selling
vermiculite from New Jersey. The picture shows a very large bag, but in
the fine print you find the bidding is for a one gallon zip loc bag of
vermiculite for 99 cents. Out of curiosity, I checked shipping. He ships
by Priority Mail for $8.55 and UPS for $11.69. Pretty hilarious. I can
buy the 4 cu ft bag for $13.
