I'm glad that you didn't get any worse than that, and got some nice rain. We had a bit of wind, and some deliciously cool temps, but not even enough rain to cut the dust. :-(

Alberto or his remains actually are here. It's bringing some much needed rain and has cooled the temperature to a wonderful 74 degrees. The humidity is high but with the steady wind and occasional gusts it feels great. We've gotten about 3 inches of rain too I guess. There's a small tree limb down in the back yard and some of my empty containers blew out of their "spot" last night and that's it. I haven't watched the news but I know there were tornado warnings all over last night so I hope no one got any damage from that. The dogs would have let me know if something major was happening here. I slept through most of it. Should be headed off toward NC now.
