not very. that's why I'm down to only one floo left w installed carpet. And I hope to get that removed this fall. OK, how does this rate? - I don't think my car has been washed for well over a year. We get a pretty good amount of rain here.

In the grand scheme of things...how important is vacuuming?? Just a thought. Kathy In a message dated 6/27/2009 9:02:53 P.M. I've been working some Saturdays and overtime during the week plus trying to get the MG plant sale set up. When I do find some time to do anything it is usually spent "putting out fires" - something is in desparate need of water, or something is being eaten, or some hostas in my hosta bed are burning from the 960 heat that appeared out of nowhere. This hosta bed had always had perfect exposure, but when we had those storms in Dec, I lost a lot of limbs from that tree and the hosta bed is now in full sun. I haven't had time or space to move them so I've positioned umbrellas over them until I can get to it. I don't even remember when I last vaccuumed. How kind of your neighbor. And very thoughtful. I know exactly how you feel. Last night I was so overwhelmed. I am soBEHIND in everything right now. April and May it RAINED (23 days of rain)Almost every single weekend for the last two months have been consumed withfamily funerals, travel or family in the hospital. Weekends are the ONLYtime I have to get caught up. My gardens look like h*ll. I don't even want to go HOME right now cause I get so fed up and frustrated. If I could find somebody to help me do the deep cleaning - I can spend my time putting things away and putting stuff back in place. Even my bedroom - which I normally keep so clean, is cluttered with boxes from my sister's house...photos, momentos, junk - that my mother gave me to sort through.I haven't even had time to do that. I haven't water yet, nor would I have had too. We got over 8 inches in Juneand the month isn't over. This is the first week of hot weather. I wasright about not having time, cause every day I had free was raining so the restructuring isn't working either. Mothers surgery has been postponed so many times, not sure when it will happen. (was to be next Tuesday, but now monday she is going for cardiac thing instead)For those that made it this far in the message, my house must look bare.My non-gardening neighbor who I am not social with dropped off a flat of annualslast night. Claims he was at the farmers market and a friend gave it tohim and figured I could use them. Place must be looking bare is all I can think of....LOL!
