Very good. My truck has never been washed, but I've got to get it done pretty soon--the Canada geese decorate it spring and fall. In Florida [where there were no Canada geese], it rained enough to keep it more or less road-film free and recognizable, but it doesn't rain here, it drizzles--and drizzle won't wash off goose poop, only streak it.

not very. that's why I'm down to only one floo left w installed carpet. And I hope to get that removed this fall. OK, how does this rate? - I don't think my car has been washed for well over a year. We get a pretty good amount of rain here.Kitty neIN, Zone 5 ----- Original Message ----- From: <Cornergar@aol.com> To: <gardenchat@hort.net> Sent: Sunday, June 28, 2009 4:36 PM Subject: Re: [CHAT] my gardening seasonIn the grand scheme of things...how important is vacuuming?? This hosta bed had always had perfect exposure, but when we had those storms in Dec, I lost a lot oflimbsfrom that tree and the hosta bed is now in full sun. I haven't had timeorspace to move them so I've positioned umbrellas over them until I can getto it. I don't even remember when I last vaccuumed. How kind of your neighbor. And verythoughtful.I know exactly how you feel. Last night I was so overwhelmed. I am so BEHIND in everything right now. April and May it RAINED (23 days of rain) Almost every single weekend for the last two months have been consumedwithfamily funerals, travel or family in the hospital. Weekends are the ONLY time I have to get caught up. My gardens look like h*ll. I don't evenwantto go HOME right now cause I get so fed up and frustrated. If I couldfindsomebody to help me do the deep cleaning - I can spend my time putting things away and putting stuff back in place. Even my bedroom - which Inormally keep so clean, is cluttered with boxes from my sister'shouse...photos, momentos, junk - that my mother gave me to sort through.I haven't even had time to do that.On Fri, Jun 26, 2009 at 5:13 AM, Donna <gossiper@sbcglobal.net> wrote:This year, knowing that I had no time for gardening due to scheduledsurgeriesof my mother, I decided not to do any new plantings or annuals thisseason.Figured I would work on some restructuring and attempt to get the weedsunder control instead of spending the little time trying to keep thingswateredetc. So what happened.....I haven't water yet, nor would I have had too. We got over 8 inches inJuneand the month isn't over. This is the first week of hot weather.
