Doen't take a nurse to answer this one.  Yes, generally ml. and cc are
interchangeable; one cubic centimeter is one one thousandth of a liter (a
cubic decimeter), almost.  But because a liter is defined as the volume of
one kilogram of distilled water @ 4 degrees C, a millimeter (one thousandth
of a liter) is actually 1.000027 cubic centimeters.  Close enough for most
work.
