Tony Veca's memorial fund

Dear all: Kitty nicely prompted me to remember that I wanted to tell you
that I finally stopped receiving money from everyone a couple of weeks
ago and this week when I hadn't gotten any new checks in the mail for
Tony's fund, I finally cashed them all in and sent Janice a card w/ a
money order for $130 for Tony's memorial. I know some of you must have
been wondering where your checks were and I'm sorry I didn't do a better
job of updating you all on the fact that money was still coming in...but
I'm fairly certain it's done now. I let Janice know that no clearly
definitive list was produced as we all thought it might be more prudent
for a local expert to help them pick the plants, given the vagaries of
weather in the Pacific coast region. Thanks again to all who generously
contributed to this...I'll let you know if I hear anything from Janice.
