Ceres, this goes back to what I said about Diascias and Parrot's Beak. You said they were available in Iowa and thought theywould be here too. Well, yes, but I am not going to buy tender palnts early for a dozen public gardens and babysit them until mid May. My place is packed til end of April with the plants I sell. Also mid April I get hardy plants in from 30 suppliers both for our gardens and our nursery and they take up whatever space I can find for them. So if I shop early to mid May for specialty tenders, there's a good chance they'll be gone.We open Apr 1 and if you don't buy the unusual you will not get them.
