Does someone know good very fragrant varieties of nicotiana and where to get them? I never get on this soon enough and end up with the un-scented ones from the nursery, definitely not the same thing...

I've grown the purple wave too...and it's lovely. I just miss the "true", heavenly, thick, scent of the old petunias. When grown on the back porch..in the evening you can really smell it. Right up there with the nicotiana and moon flowers. On 3/31/10, BONNIE_HOLMES <bonnie_holmes@comcast.net> wrote:The purple WAVE petunia have a great smell. And where to find them or the seeds? I love the smell of them, but they all seem to be hybrids now and that takes away some of the scent. I love the LOOK of the "wave" petunias, and have grown them, but they can't beat the original fragrance. -- Jesse R.
