I planted some variegated garlic chives.. to deter the deer! I dont
guess I will even try vegetable gardening here. I saw 15 deer in my
neighbors yard the other day.. they really need to be thinned. They are
eating things that everyone says they never used to eat.

I did plant a new area to make a backdrop out of my master bedroom
window. I was looking into my neighbors side yard where I could see her
light come on every morning at 7, like her coffee pot or something. Now
I look out at a giant bird of paradise,2 split leaf philodendrons, 2
pygmy palms, variegated flax lilies, 2 windmill palms, 2 variegated
gingers and 2 red cordylines. Now I have a wonderful view and I dont
have to look at my neighbors kitchen light coming on every morning or
her air conditioning unit on the side of the house either.

I found some rosemary plants and some autumn ferns to plant somewhere
too. I am learning what the deer dont like to eat and hopefully they
wont change and start eating them.
