Re: Bad Times for Cats

Sue, I feed and take care of 27 cats (well, 25 now). 10 live in my small house with me, but there is simply not room for the others. Our town only had a population of 136 at the last census, and there is a lot of green space. I had been feeding the cats that were killed for about 5 years. They were born here and did not feel threatened walking around at night. BTW, I have had dozens of cats spayed and/or neutered since I moved here 8 years ago. That's the only way I know to control the cat population here, Unfortunately, I am the only person doing that.

Not saying I am blaming you, and I am not condoning what your idiot
neighbors are doing...but it's things like this that make keeping your pets
indoors or confined to your own yard a very very good idea. Does your
city/state/county have a Humane Society or branch of the ASPCA? I hope you
nail the jerks for what they've done!
