Re: Scale on orchids

Andrea, I referred your question to my clubmember, Bill Smiles, who
is an orchid specialist.  He has two greenhouses full with about 700
different ones.  His reply:

I suggest Horticultural Sun Spray Oil -  you can get small amounts at most 
Garden Centers - and mix 1 tablespoon to a gallon of water - spray on - does no 
harm to the plant/or human being...  Bingo - the scale is gone....
