Nope, not a tree, leave look like it might be related to an amarylis or
something similar.

of the flower I cribbed from the web. There's another variety that has a
pink flower--same genus and species. Trees get huge; the one at Selby, which
is the pink sort, must be 60 feet in its stocking feet."
