Re: 2006 Calendar

It's supposed to be in the mid-60's by Thursday, but in the 20's tonight. Last week it went from around 80 to the high 20's in a day or so- lots of flash-frozen vegetation. Then we had a couple of days of drizzle and yuck in between, with pretty heavy rain yesterday, followed by high winds overnight and today.

Ah, well- we needed the rain. I feel really sorry for the plants, though. They never had a chance to go dormant. My poor, poor Hydrangeas.

It was perfectly gorgeous here today. I went to a volunteer appreciation luncheon for our county social services agency. The food was all southern and home made. I do not need to eat again until Thursday.

We could do with a little bottom heat around here this evening. The high was only in the low 40's, and there wasn't much sun. :-(
