Re: Bummer weekend... sorta

Glad to hear your peppers are up and growing! Very exciting. All mine are ripe and need to be picked. I haven't gone out in the back garden much at all. I'm trying to stay away until the stucco is done, at which point I will definitely have some garden rehab to do. I'm trying not to stress about it, and not looking at it helps. But will be happy when it is done and I can clear it up, remove any stucco remnants, add some compost and humus and see what got tramples in the process of putting up and down scaffolding.

Chilly--yesterday and today. Put Ms Fatma on a Tundra Airways flight this AM so she can witness DIL give birth to a granddaughter later this week. Cats already looking for her. Got an eye doctor appointment [routine] early in the AM.

On the cheery side, the Bishop's Crown peppers are up, so I'll transplant them into a big pot on the front patio tomorrow. And the sauerkraut appears to be done and ready to can, maybe tomorrow. I need to give it a taste test first because the canning heat will stop the fermentation. But it would be nice to have some as a side on T-Day.
