Mine are coming, too, and I agree it's much too early. I am sure we will get repeats with different covers in January and February. I guess it's helping the Post Office stay in business, but I'd rather save the trees. Has your weather continued to be crazy? After the bizarre snowstorm, it turned quite warm here - several days in the upper 60s and low 70s. Now it's cool again - 40s and rainy. What worries me is that the azalea that was turning nicely yellow and ready to lose its leaves now has new green bud shoots at the tip of each yellow branch. I can't believe this is healthy. Pinetree was first off the mark. Other eager vendors are Vermont Bean Seed and Totally Tomatoes and Dixondale's onion catalog. Did it always use to be this early? Seems to me I remember sitting around just after Christmas being excited to see them show up in my mailbox. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
