Re: Maxicrop on sale

On a similar note, once when I took my cat to the vet he said I'd need a
certain medication and did I have it at home? I said I had an old tube
and it was a few years outdated. He said it would be fine, that, in
general, the strength of such medications only depreciated by about 1%
per year after the expiriation date. Mind you, I don't mean all
medicines, but in the case of this ointment. I'm glad I didn't have to
buy another tube. I think it may be fine to use many things after their
expiration dates as these are often arbitrary (not worth the cost of
testing so they just slap a known date on it even though it may last
much longer) But when it comes to your health, or that of your pets, ask
your doctor or pharmacist. Medicines taken internally are most often a
no-no, but I believe many ointments and creams may be used longer.
