Oh Donna.....no WINE??????? Geesh. Just try some hot spiced/mulled red
wine on a cold night. There is nothing better in the world to warm up one's
blood. I don't drink much wine during the summer, except maybe at social
gatherings, but when it is cold.....bring out the Gluehwein. Yum. Honest to
goodness, that stuff goes right to your blood, bones, and warms you from the
inside out. Great with the homemade wines, but can also be purchased ready made
now here in the States. Used to have it shipped in from Germany, or buy the
special tea-type bags with the wine spices to make it with red wine. I
never drank any wine, except that.
Try it, I guarantee, even if you are not much of a wine fan.....it's so good
when you feel like you'll never get warm.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will see what I can find next spring. Wasn't
planning on making wine, more the eating - jams type.
