E.T. used to do that when he was an indoor-outdoor cat. As soon as I opened the door, he'd rush to the litter box. Silly cat!

My four don't seem to do that, but I am often amused when Nick, our
elderly tom who doesn't go out too much, will cry piteously at the door
to come in and then rush straight downstairs to the litter box.  You'd
think he would have learned to use a flower bed.  I know Sandy likes
to use the pine needles in the back.
