RE: Help with peonies


Oh yes, it's the Southeastern Lament.  I would love to have a garden
full of these beauties but know that most years it would be a waste of
space.  The one herbaceous peony I have has a place of honor in my yard
because it came from the garden of dear friend who died much, much too
young, but it does always look terrible this time of year.  That's ok,
however, because when it blooms in the spring I see Joyce's shining face
in every lovely flower.
