We use a dehydrator, too. We've an American Harvest Snackmaster--a real cheapy; $40 new, maybe--that I plucked off Freecycle. But it works great for most things.

We used to use the dehydrator for drying herbs. Dries them slowly to not overheat them. If you have a convectional oven, that might work just as well,

Dill.... anyone ever dry it to use later? Wondering if it is worth the trouble of getting it dried without molding etc..... Does it keep enough of its flavor to bother with it? What is the best way to dry it if you don't

any fancy equipment?

What about parsley?

I normally use up most of what I grow, but presently, I have more than I can
use....
