Seems to me wiping it clean in probably the way to go. I can't imagine going through the hard drive and all the cookies and selectively deleting stuff among the years of accumulated dross.

I don't really know how to clean the machine of personal stuff without also losing the programs on it. Perhaps, Chris or Donna would know. When I sold my old computer and my dad's, in both cases I just went through the entire C drive deleting personal files.
