Re: Jeff's Question
I'm w/Doreen. I use drip irrigation in the greenhouses I maintain and
at home have used both drip and the Walmart soaker hose. The soaker
hose system is VERY easy to use and the in store display includes free
instruction books. All the connecters are there, reasonably priced, and
there's even a fertilizer reservoir you can use if you like. As Doreen
said, it's invisible when mulched, and if you hook it up to a small
water computer you can program to water at times of day when the demand
is less. (Here in NYC we are being asked not to water between 11 am and
7 pm.)
