Hello All -

Like many of you, I try to make the most of my time and find that I
generally don't have enough of it. As my writing and photography business
grows, I am constantly challenged to stay on track with making progress on
various projects, mostly magazine articles with custom photography, and
meeting various deadlines. I have quick things to do that come up this week,
and I have book projects 2-4 years out. Sometimes I'm moderately busy and
other times I'm crushed with too much to do; I want to level things out
some, if possible. I need to better organize my work so nothing is
forgotten, deadlines are met, and steady progress is made where needed.

I generally have many months of lead time so I can do photography in
advance, etc. How do the rest of you organize your various projects?

Tools I presently have include a monthly calendar with large squares, an
on-line calendar which I forget to check, and my Mac with Excel, Word,
Photoshop, and others. I don't have any organization/calendar software. I'm
a very visual person and prefer something bold, simple and easy to maintain.
Do any of you know of something that would help?

I greatly appreciate your suggestions.
