Re: a question I need help with: vinegar as a herbicide?

I'm the guest "expert" on a web chat garden forum for the magazine I write

Someone stated that vinegar would kill weeds. Can you verify this. If it's
true....I'm delighted! It's a lot better than using chemicals.
