Just an example of how little is known--even amongst garden writers. The
problems and potential remedies are far older than the war on terrorism and
Bush's administration. Let's not spread misinformation. The new policies for
seed have nothing to do with worries about things coming through the mail.
The seed policy is the result of two things: 1.) concern over noxious weed
introduction; 2.) concerns over seed borne pathogens and disease.
