  How True!

And even more true for the poor souls who write primarily for Southern California. Even the Nurserymen's Assn. send out their material just a couple of weeks before date, and since most of us write anywhere from a month to two months ahead of publication, it's not too useful. And, of course, for many other press releases they're way off the timing for us, since we garden all year.
