I run a mailing list (on Yahoo Groups) called 'Edible
ContainerGardens'.

I can't believe how many people have recently joined it -
for example, 17 people joined within the last 7 days. It
now has a total membership of 486.

I think people are definitely becoming more interested in
growing some of their food, and probably because they can
foresee hard times ahead.
