Hello all –

I am sure you have already heard, but I am making my rounds to try to reach out to some of his past advertisers who may have not known.  It is with great sadness that I let you all know that Ralph Snodsmith, host of “The Garden Hotline” and a member of the WOR air staff for more than 35 years, passed away from complications of an injury suffered in early March.  Horticulturist Richard Weir hosted a special tribute edition of “The Garden Hotline”, featuring special remembrances of Ralph from John Gambling, Joan Hamburg, Jerry Crowley, and Shelly Strickler.  The show is available for podcast at WOR710.com. 

We are currently  using guest hosts until we lock in a new host for The Garden Hotline.  Let me know if you have any questions!  If you know anyone that may be a good fit, feel free to send resumes my way.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ralph's memory to Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rockland / 10 Patriot Hills Drive / Stony Point, NY 10980.
