Re: Is an RSS the way to go?
Prior to March 13, 2013, the answer was simple: Use Google Reader for
reading RSS feeds. But on March 13, Google announced they are retiring
Google Reader on July 1.
Since then everyone has been scrambling to find alternative RSS readers
and aggregators. If you always read your RSS feeds on the same device, you
can use a standalone RSS reader software, or one built into your web
browser or email client.
If you want the flexibility to read your RSS feeds from multiple devices
(desktop, tablet, phone, etc) then you need a RSS aggregator service in the
cloud.
The popular alternatives are:

http://www.newsblur.com/ ($)
