Re: Reader Beware: Glyphosate_Suppression_of_Cytochrome

In Agriculture the buzzword for years now has been "sustainable agriculture," which is often linked with "no-till" farming.
I once saw a no-till rig being set up, for planting barley. There were cutters and seeders etc. and also the biggest tank of Roundup I've ever seen....and I mean big, like a 10,000 gallon tank!
Obviously the whole rig had huge tires and was pulled by a monster tractor.
When I was an Ag student, a long time ago, the professors used to routinely mock me for being so interested in organic gardening. Now they're all into sustainable, and from what I've seen of it, it is an interesting mix of organic farming along with massive amounts of Roundup.
As for those peer-reviewed "science journals"......I am routinely asked to write for these things, and I'd be happy to do so, except that they generally charge you $2,000 (or more) to publish your article, even in just an on-line version. Money talks. Be skeptical, very much so.
