I guess my take on this is...If we are going to be so diligent about industry
rumors, who is going to monitor bad or incorrect advice and answers members
of the list might give?
As with any listserv or any on-line research, it's member and researcher
beware of the information, verify and confirm.
I also agree that this list should be among the first to get some of the
industry news and to discuss it. There's nothing like it available right now.
In general, this list seems very professional, with a wonderfully wide source
of contributors and members. I fear that will stop and the service will be
worthless if there's constant worry about censorship and what you can't or
cannot say.
