Hi. I'm joining this conversation late. But I had to say, as a long-time
worm person, that you get fungus gnats when your medium--whether a worm bed
or a greenhouse bed--is too wet. Watch your moisture levels carefully.
Fungus gnats only develop when things are soggy.
