The thread I was requesting an end to was one branch of it that seemed to be
getting a bit personal.  I have no problem with the general discussion of
organics.  I'd contribute to the discussion myself, having a fair amount of
info from my own background, plus research done in preparing my book on
grape growing, but it would take too much time to write it all out, and I
doubt anyone wants posts that long.
    I will say that I would ask the group to think long about your posts on
this as there is a tendency I have seen in other lists for discussions on
organics to go into political and philisophical sides that get very
slippery.  Further, they get into opinions, not facts, which can heat up
pretty fast.  So please avoid postings that give opinions only - try to back
everything with facts/research/experience, etc. so there is less likelyhood
of problems in the discussions.
Blood may be good fertilizer, but not when it's spilled in the discussion
lists.  :-)
