The Dixie Chicks, who have become a very hot music group the past few 
years,
have sued to get out of their recording contract with Sony.

Evidently at the core of their suit is the "standard" contract they 
signed
several years ago, when they were unknowns. It sounds in many respects
similar to the standard contracts beginning writers are told to sign,
with the explanation that it's all routine.
