I'm sorry I didn't get in on this last week. I use FileMaker Pro and I'm 
a SOHO user, not a major corporation. I have been using it for years, 
starting with version 2.0. It is relatively simple to design your own 
database or use an existing template with or without modification. I 
made one for my slides and it will take the addition of only one field 
to add my new digital photo info too.

I highly recommend that you get the book FileMaker Pro for Windows and 
Macintosh by Nolan Hester. It is a Visual Quickstart Guide from Peachpit 
Press $17.99 in paperback. It will make your demo time much more useful 
in making a decision whether or not to purchase. My guide is to v.5, and 
I think they are now up to 5.5, but the changes didn't seem major enough 
to warrant my upgrading yet, so the book won't be outdated. You can
