Peter,  If I were a newspaper editor I would not only appreciate the price, 
but the accuracy of Extension personnel.  The funny thing is that here in 
Massachusetts, excepting Plymouth County, the Extension Service does not 
receive any money to support dissemination of information to 
nonprofessionals.  They will talk to you if you are a lawn jockey 
grasshopping landscaper whose customers buy on price alone, but if you have a 
ten acre residential property and want to find out what's happening in the 
backyard you are out of luck.  I guess the politicians's felt that anyone who 
owned that much nonagricultural land was wealthy enough to buy and read all 
the books necessary to understand his problems.
