As these magazine lists appeared over the past few days, I've gotten more and more confused. Are they being praised from a readership point of view, or as viable markets?
The fact is, some of the publications listed have terrible writer relationships, including, in some cases, not paying for stories contracted for and run.
Personally, I don't care how good a magazine reads, or what it looks like. If it screws writers it isn't deserving of praise.
