Re: Regional magazines

I don't know if it was mentioned yet or not, but in the West we do have
Pacific Horticulture, which is an excellent, very top-notch magazine,
journal. One of the things I especially enjoy about it is that it always has
in depth articles about some particular plant, or a particular genus of
plants. But it is a very fine publication.
I also get a regional magazine, Southwest Trees and Turf, produced by
Helen Stone, who I think is a member of GWA. It is mostly for professionals
and is focused on desert gardening, but it is an interesting, informative,
well-constructed publication.

New England also has an excellent regional People, Places, Plants that has
recently expanded with a Mid-Atlantic edition and a TV series with
presenters Paul Tukey and Roger Swain. www.ppplants.com

free one in Michigan. Florida Gardening was mentioned. What are other
regionals you like? Besides Sunset and Southern Living which are huge.

had good garden articles (by member Anne Moore), and I understand the
publisher Southern Homes puts out one for Tennessee and perhaps some other
southern states.

Saskachtewan Extension seems to be a success with Gardener for the Prairies.
