Re: Press release = customs charges

Before the Chicago symposium, I received a press release with a tiny baseball bat. (It was kinda cute and will make good kindling this winter.) I have forgotten which company sent it and if anyone remembers, please let me know...

It was the Louisville Slugger bat company, now marketing bionic gardening gloves. They had a booth at the GWA symposium. I, too, was perplexed by the bat. Why didn't they just send a sample of the gloves? Well, it seems that the gloves need to be fitted you the wearer, which they did at their trade show booth. They later sent sample gloves, upon request. Still, the bat seems a waste of a good tree.

Yvonne, maybe you can request some gloves, so you can pay tariff on them, too.
