I am curious. Did you have to pay?
I was under the impression that, unless you
initiated the event, any charges were the responsibility of the sender.
Certainly postage is, why not other fees associated with the delivery?

I received a customs brokerage bill from UPS for
$3.00 for the Canadian sales tax on this
gimmicky bat. This seems to be a new problem with Canada customs:
they are now charging for every silly thing sent across the border, including
gifts.
