Thanks so much for your reply to my question about gardens in OR, and I appologize for my delay in sending you a reply!  I would love to see 
your tree display but I'm afraid that I can't work it into our trip this time.  However, your book looks very interesting and I'm wondering if you 
would like to be my guest on my radio program sometime this fall/winter to talk about your work and your book.  It would mean a call at 
(gulp) 5 AM on a Saturday morning.  My board operator would call you at about 8:05 eastern time and we would talk about the book and your 
work - perhaps before Christmas so that people could order the book for gifts.  What do you think?  

thanks again for your suggestions about my trip - I have to take a couple of weeks and come to Oregon, it's clear.
