Re: Is it finger blight?

The staff at the Arnold Arboretum gathered, cleaned and mailed me seeds of
an unusual birch when I asked permission to collect. Not that I expected it
from them. I wasn't sure of the best timing and as I was trying to get
advice from them about when I should check back, they said they'd do it for
me.

I did sneak a three inch slip of Klanchoe pumilla from a huge basket at
the Conservatory in Golden Gate Park, but I have felt bad about that ever
since. (Still have the plant, though.)

I shall revise my practice on seed pods and ask first.
