Re: Is it finger blight?


While I would never suggest taking anything from a garden (a number of
so-called hort people have taken both seeds and cuttings from mine without
permission--and I always grant permission, too), I would also be careful of
making blanket statements about the National Park Service. I live near the
Blue Ridge Parkway and also a part of the country with incredible lichens.
If a windstorm throws bits of lichens, seedpods, whatever on the open ground
of a recognized trail, as of a few years ago, it was quite alright to take
them. Of course, as the congress sits and the president does nothing to help
the country, by now those rights could have been sold to China, etc. Best,
